What is a Triptych?

A triptych is a work of art that is divided into three sections. Breaking the painting into three individual panels can add a layer of interest and look very different depending on the artwork. One of the best things about a triptych is the ability to customize the spacing between the canvas panels, maximizing or minimizing the art for the space. Adding larger spacing between each canvas can create bigger impact for areas such as long hallways. If you have a tighter wall space you can minimize the canvas spacing to 2" (or even closer for a frame-to-frame look).

The Power of Three

Origins is shown in our new 20x45" standard triptych option, spaced with about 3" between each panel. The effect is classic and a great example of the drama that can be created by dividing the painting into three equal panels.

Minimize or Maximize

One of the best things about a triptych is the ability to customize the spacing and size of each canvas. Dune is a great example of the drama that can be created by a larger middle panel flanked by two smaller canvases.
